Bolivia Photos

The Kozel family, thanks to photos taken by Denver when he visited Bolivia a few months ago.

Daddy's girl!

Rosemary and Tati. Rose and another gal are housemates with the Kozels. She has one of the inside bedrooms. Julie, Alex and Tati live in a casa where they share a kitchen and living area, they have a bedroom, bath and a large porch on the outside of the house. This view (below) kind of shows their porch.

The next pictures are of the Casitta project. There are three houses, all the same. This shows the front of one house. There is another nice covered porch in the back.

Julie and Alex have managed this project.

The interior before furniture. This is a spaciaous house, not a cottage as the name "casitta" suggests, where 8 children and the house parents will live.

A bedroom, one of 5 in each casitta.

...and even more Easter in Kansas

We went to Hesston Mennonite for their Easter service and worshiped in the new sanctuary. After church we met up with the Patterson's at the Hesston College Cafe. Not quite like home, but the food was good, the company great, and a little less work for me. We missed Mark. He was invited to Jim and Donna's - they felt sorry for him all alone on a special day. He was eating with them in Ohio as Crystal and I were at the table with the missing Johnston family memebers in Kansas. The ole switcheroo.

Later we spent the afternoon at Eric and Karmen's place. Thanks, Millers, for your hospitality!

More Easter in Kansas

We visited Aaron's home and enjoyed spending an evening with Jeanie and Dan. She had eggs ready to decorate. We really got into it and had fun. There were some very creatively decorated eggs. Aaron's marble effect was "egg"ceptional, Crystal's were most unique and "egg"quisite, and my, tulips and sunshine egg was hard to "beat."

Later we ate a Midnight Delight cake from Coldstone Creamery. Aaron's birthday is April 3, the same day as our anniversary. Happy belated birthday!

How's that for a goofy "egg"spression?

Easter in Kansas

Karen flew to Kansas over spring break to be with Crystal for Easter. Mark stayed home and celebrated his 52nd birthday all alone. The first day there it snowed and stayed cold the entire time. We visited Michelle and Gretta while the weather was nasty. I had to get some grandma practice.

Anniversary - 31 years

These pictures were taken before we left to eat at Damons. The "all you can eat" ribs were yummy!! Jim and Donna Johnston share our same anniversary. They surprised us by stopping at Damons as we were on our way out. We visited in the parking lot.
