Plenty of love to go around

We're having fun with our little family and it's great to be here at the same time as tia Crystal, although we're missing tio Justin.
Here's a fresh batch of picture and there will surely be more to come........

En Bolivia

We made it safely to Bolivia without any airline complications. We were met at the airport by the family with Tati on her daddy's shoulder and Julie with new little Micah in her arms. Crystal was there to greet us too. We breezed through customs with all our bags, thanks to the helpful baggage assistant who took all our six bags right around the line. Mark tipped him well! We looked through the doors as they opened and saw Tati, then heard her say "papi grande!" We weren't sure who to hug first, we were so glad to see all of them!

Our first day was spent catching up, giving all the terrific baby gifts that were sent for Micah and Tati, and holding and hugging and our precious little ones. We brought a Big Wheel for Tati that Papi and Alex quickly assembled. Then the fun began!

The Miracle of Birth

Baby Kozel arrived. Little Micah Wynn made her entrance into the world early Sunday morning(8/19). She weighs 7lbs and 10 oz. and is 20.47 inches long. We're waiting to hear more news about her delivery. For now, this is all we know. We're depending on our photographer on the ground (Crystal) to get us some good pictures to post. We're eager to talk to Juliane later......stay tuned!

Crystal's Journey

We're happy to let everyone know that Crystal finally arrived in Santa Cruz, Bolivia after a three day stay in Miami. On Wednesday night she boarded the plane. After waiting 2 hours on the airplane an announcement was made that there were mechanical problems (gages not working) and the flight was cancelled. No room on other flights for three days. That was 3 a m. By 6 a m she called from a Marriott and said American Airlines was paying for two nights in Miami and she had a flight out on Saturday night, the last seat on the airplane. After three unexpected days in a hotel with no pool and not much to do she was quite relieved to be able to board the Saturday night flight bound for her destination. Thankfully all went smoothly the second time around. The plane was on time and all her luggage with her. She is now enjoying the company of her niece, the first time she's seen Tati, and catching up with Julie and Alex. Julie is hoping to have the baby a few days early.
