Market Day

Tuesday is market day. That means a fresh supply of fruits and veggies arrive. We wash everything thoroughly. Here's a sample of this weeks bounty. So colorful and flavorful.

Granddaughters

It's quite amazing how one tiny little squirt can entertain so may adults. We just watch Micah squirm and make her baby faces and listen to her grunts and coos. We also enjoy our conversations with Tati as her English is really improving. She speaks both English and Spanish to Alex and Julie. Tati is doing very well with the baby and continues to use gentle hands when holding her.

The hammock is our rocking chair

We all take our turn in the hammock. The days have been warm and windy. We spend a lot of time on the porch since the rooms are pretty warm. The heat plus the comfort of the hammock is often a recipe for sleep for Micah (or pretty much anyone).

Eyes Wide Open

Or should I say "mouth wide open"





Micah has longer times of having her eyes open and being very alert. That often happens in the evenings and into the night, although she is on a pretty good schedule at night. We're eager to know how much she weighs now. You can see she is filling out nicely!

Plenty of love to go around

We're having fun with our little family and it's great to be here at the same time as tia Crystal, although we're missing tio Justin.

En Bolivia

We made it safely to Bolivia without any airline complications. We were met at the airport by the family with Tati on her daddy's shoulder and Julie with new little Micah in her arms. Crystal was there to greet us too. We breezed through customs with all our bags, thanks to the helpful baggage assistant who took all our six bags right around the line. Mark tipped him well! We looked through the doors as they opened and saw Tati, then heard her say "papi grande!" We weren't sure who to hug first, we were so glad to see all of them!

Our first day was spent catching up, giving all the terrific baby gifts that were sent for Micah and Tati, and holding and hugging and our precious little ones. We brought a Big Wheel for Tati that Papi and Alex quickly assembled. Then the fun began!
