Anniversary Dinner

We Share an anniversary with Jim and Donna Johnstson, April 3, 1976. This year we went out to eat at Texas Roadhouse in New Philidelphia to celebrate 32 years.

Needless to say....Jim was being a ham(in a steak world). We tried to get a good photo, he just wouldn't co-operate.

Our booth happened to have a skunk as part of the decor. Strange choice for an eating an establishment, but it provided a few laughs just the same.

From Pink to Green

The little room upstairs has been transformed from girlish pink to a soft celery green. It hasn't been re-painted since we built the house. Not wanting to remove the wallpaper, I decided to just paint over the pink lower portion of the walls. See below for step by step, before and after photos.

Sandra is overjoyed with her new green room.

A new quilted bedspread helps tie it all together. Pink is just an accent color now.

Working hands!

Sandra's first time to paint. Notice the green wall beside the original pink.

Pink is not Sandra's favorite color!

And yet another........SNOW!

I just measured the snow and we have more than 12 inches and it's still coming down. This time it's a light and fluffy snow. The wind is kicking up and blowing the snow, forming drifts. Tatiana, once again we think you should be here to see this! Justin, Julie, and Crystal you would be loving it too! See our fun in the snow. Spring will come....but for now we are enjoying the beauty of a deep blanket of snow!

For the birds.

Snow Day - Number five!!!

We are having the most beautiful snowfall with nice big flakes. It's wet and nice to pack, just right for building a snowman or a snowball fight. We've had quite a bit of snow this winter

but it been the light fluffy type. This is Sandra's first experience buildin
g snow people. I haven't done it for awhile myself! It's good exercise. We're putting these videos up especially for Tatiana to see. This is SNOW!

Right now we have 5-6 inches on the ground. We'll see how many we get before it tapers off later tonight. For now, we are enjoying the beautiful snow blanket that covers everything.

The final product. It's Sno' momma.......and papi.
