Snow Day - Number five!!!

We are having the most beautiful snowfall with nice big flakes. It's wet and nice to pack, just right for building a snowman or a snowball fight. We've had quite a bit of snow this winter

but it been the light fluffy type. This is Sandra's first experience buildin
g snow people. I haven't done it for awhile myself! It's good exercise. We're putting these videos up especially for Tatiana to see. This is SNOW!

Right now we have 5-6 inches on the ground. We'll see how many we get before it tapers off later tonight. For now, we are enjoying the beautiful snow blanket that covers everything.

The final product. It's Sno' momma.......and papi.

First Snow Day of the season

We woke up to about 3 inches of snow on the ground and accumilated more as the day progressed. This is the first real snow for Sandra and Ta. This morning Sandra questioned me, "You mean we really don't have to go to school today because of the snow?"
That's right darlin!
SNOW DAY!!!!!!

The hunt for the perfect tree

Thursday evening Mark came home from work early and we went to the Pine Tree Barn to get our Christmas tree. It was dusk when we arrived and it was fun to shop for the tree among the twinkling lights. There were many beautiful tree and many that were out of our price range. We came home with a nice white pine.

Sandra among the evergreens - the Frazier firs we were wishing for.

It's FUN to shop for trees - just ask Mark and Ta.

Our strong guys taking our chosen tree to the truck.

Pretty lights and a pretty model.
Time to jump in the truck and go home. Oops. Wrong truck.
