The GREAT pumpkin (or squash)

Fall is definitely here. There is a crispness in the air and the leaves are in full color.

It's time to carve the ole pumpkin. I enjoy making design rather than spooky faces. The cordless drill is a great help. All that power!

All a-glow.

Look- out! Sandra has never used a drill before. I hope she knows how they are normally used!

We also did some traditional carving as well. Takeyori and Sandra made some neat faces. We had a lot of huge zucchini and yellow squash and used them to make some jack-o-lanterns too.

Ta and Sandra's handiwork.
Stop by to check out our front porch display. Treats for everyone!

Fun! Our kids spent the evening decorating "junk pumpkins" (using stuff around the house to decorate them) for our church's fall festival tomorrow. They are not as elegant and pretty as yours, but everyone has fun and made a mess. What a festive, beautiful display you have. (julie mc)
