Papi Grande leaves Bolivia

Shines, Hugs and Goodbye
Mark left on Saturday night on American Airlines. While waiting at the airport Mark and Alex had a shoe shine. Their shoes were really dusty before the shine. They gave the man a nice tip.

Karen is scheduled to fly a week later with Sandra, a girl from the home who will be staying with us and attending Central Christian. We pray that all goes as scheduled. Read Alex's blog (Gringo link at right on this page) for some insight into airline difficulties that are going on this week in Bolivia. Mark got out just in time.

I know it was tough for Mark to say good-bye to these precious children and to Julie and Alex. My turn is coming. Good-byes are always hard for me.

Mark and Karen,

Thank you so much for posting such wonderful pictures of your stay in Bolivia with our children and grandchildren. Viewing them through the eyes of fellow grandparents is the next best thing to being there in person.

Hi Everyone! I hadn't checked the blog for a while and it was so good to see and hear from Bolivia. Micah and Tati sure are cute and growing. Karen I'm praying your trip home will be safe and enjoyable. We celebrated Cynthia's husband, David's birthday the first of October. Then our great-granddaughter's Alexis' 7th birthday last Saturday. (I forgot the camera.) It is the same date as Jeanette's. Blessings on you all! The California Resslers
